Founding Steward of Merkaba Temple | Co-Founder ArcherShaw | Founder of Merkaba Retreats | Founder of Lumara Social Network
Christopher Shaw is the founder and steward of Merkaba Temple, an online spiritual sanctuary devoted to embodied devotion, contemplative practice, and conscious leadership.
His role within the Temple is not to persuade, instruct, or perform — but to hold a living field of prayer, stillness, and remembrance where truth can be met directly.
Christopher’s presence invites people out of striving and into coherence.
The Work of the Temple
Merkaba Temple exists as a place of return.
Through weekly services, prayer, teaching, and shared silence, the Temple offers a rhythm of devotion grounded in presence rather than belief. The work is simple, slow, and sincere — oriented toward living as prayer rather than seeking transcendence.
Christopher serves as a steward of this space, guiding teachings and transmissions that support:
-
Embodied devotion
-
Inner stillness and listening
-
Relational integrity
-
Responsibility as a spiritual practice
-
Leadership rooted in humility and truth
Orientation & Practice
Christopher’s spiritual orientation is contemplative and non-performative. His teachings draw from lived practice, silence, and direct experience rather than doctrine or identity.
Devotion, in this context, is not worship of form — but attention, honesty, and care in daily life.
Prayer is not something spoken — it is something lived.
Lineage & Experience
Christopher brings decades of experience supporting individuals and communities through inner transformation. His background includes depth psychology, spiritual practice, and long-term service in relational and recovery-oriented spaces.
Over time, his path has moved away from fixing or guiding others and toward holding space for remembrance — allowing what is true to arise without force.
Merkaba Temple was born from this orientation.
A Note on Stewardship
Christopher does not position himself as a guru, healer, or authority figure within the Temple.
He serves as a caretaker of the field — tending rhythm, integrity, and presence so that the Temple may remain a place of sincerity, safety, and quiet devotion.
